New iPhone 6 Leak Confirms a Slim Design with Rounded Edges

With lots of rumors and reports, iPhone 6 may has become the most rumored smartphone of 2014. Everyday, you got a new story of iPhone 6 pointing different features and design. But, this time Nowhereelse takes the floor by showing iPhone 6 mockup.

The latest leak confirms the slim design along with rounded edges which is largely being discussed from the first day. Unfortunately, enthusiasts aren’t going to get a break of seeing iPhone 6’s final image as nobody knows exactly where these images come from. But sources familiar to the news say that the images have been appeared on a well-known Chinese forum, which has always been good in leaking Apple products.

We don’t see power button placed on the top of handset that opposes the Apple’s traditions of sticking with the typical design. But seeing the image, it is believed that power button has been relocated to the right side of the handset.

The accurate screen size is also vague, but we can assume that it could be of 4.7-inch. It’s likely that iPhone 6 might hold the following dimensions; 6.1mm thick, 64mm wide and 138mm long. These dimensions make some sense as the current iPhone 5S is 7.6mm thick, 58.6mm wide and 123.8mm long.

Anyways, we don’t know the authenticity of this leak, but if it gets true then it’s really gonna give a tough time to its competitors. Take this post as a pinch of salt as nothing has been confirmed by the company so far. We will let you know when Apple talks about anything officially. So stay tuned!

New iPhone 6 Leaks suggest a Thinner Body

Every day we hear different hearsays regarding iPhone 6 which don’t seem to be lessening until the final release. So again, iPhone 6 comes in today’s story as G for Games spotted some images of iPhone 6 through a Chinese social networking site, Weibo.

The leaked images of iPhone 6 suggest a thinner body that hasn’t been ever seen from Apple. It could be a pressure of opponents that are being appreciated with smart designs. These images may be vague for many as they don’t depict the true concept and let you stick with the rear side of the handset only.

This new design looks familiar to the new iPod Touch and sidesteps the Apple tradition of sticking with the bar form design. So, we can expect something new from Apple that’ll really grab the attention. We all know that the specs more matters than the design. It’s a difficult task for the company to introduce a device that could really compete with the other competitor’s products like Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2. Seeing 20MP rear snapper in Z2, users won’t be convinced if Apple goes for less MegaPixel count.

There’s also some buzz around the tech society that Apple will release two brand new devices later this year. Going with plastic body in iPhone 5C wasn’t a good decision. So, we can now expect something other than plastic material as it hasn’t been a good experience for the company. Anyhow, Apple hasn’t made any official statement regarding its next flagship device. To stay in the game, Apple really needs to come up with cutting-edge devices this year.  You may have watched several videos showing Apple’s next flagship smartphone that gets ambiguous with two names; iPhone 6 or iPhone Air. Which one is gonna lead Apple’s boat in the tidy ocean where only innovations matter?

We’ve seen Samsung with its next big thing, Galaxy S5 announced a few days back at MWC 2014. Samsung surprises the world with its early release of GS5, there might be something wise behind it. Now, the attention shits towards the Apple that may or may not surprise the world with its next big thing.

The rumors floating around suggest a large 4.7-inch touch display with less-bezel chassis. The 13MP 3D rear and 3.2MP face cameras are likely to be seen in Apple’s next flagship smartphone. One thing which might get the attention is its CPU, it’s likely that new phone will pack A8 Octa-core processor that could change the trends. The availability hasn’t been confirmed by the company as many are pretty sure for September or November release.

The competition is very high as its competitors have come out with some high-end devices that really can give tough time to Apple. It would be a fun to see how Apple will compete its other rivals.

Let’s get into what Apple is prepping for its next flagship iPhone 6. The new phone might come with a large and bezel-less screen, according to many reports floating around the tech dugouts. The Apple’s next Smartphone is likely to come with a sophisticated design that can be seen in the leaked photo. It’s time to put all traditions aside and go for something bigger, I think that’s what Apple is working on to shock its enthusiasts.

Sources close to the news confirm the presence of 8MP rear camera that comprises an ability to take shots even in low light. For many, it would better if Apple goes beyond the 15MP. Following the trends, its competitors such as Oppo is also very keen to cram a whopping 50MP sharp shooter in its next flagship device. So, analyzing the present-day needs, 8MP isn’t a big deal.

The things get vague when another rumor at China’s IT168 talks about 10MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. So, we can expect something more innovative as nothing has been written with a permanent ink by the company so far.

The Apple’s long rumored iPhone 6 is being discussed around the tech society. The new phone is carrying tons of stories that can’t be seen ending unless Apple releases it. Flexible display is one of them, and many analysts believe that it could open up new doors of technology.

Lewi Hussey a Dutch designer, gives a new concept in which iPhone 6 features an edge-to-edge curved display. The screen size hasn’t been yet confirmed and remains in a confused state. It’s likely that iPhone 6 will come with 5-inch or 6-inch OLED Retina Display.

If this highly anticipated iPhone comes in a curved display, the atmosphere at tech society will be changed, and we see the future of Smartphones coming with flexible display.

Apple is well aware of its competitors such as LG and Samsung who’ve employed this technology in their products, which is being appreciated. Apple needs to unveil some new ideas that can grab user’s attention. Samsung is also interested in curved display for its new Galaxy S5.

Design

Apple’s iPhone 6 seems to have a larger display with metal framework. But, Apple hasn’t been so quick in changing the design of its handsets. But this time, the tradition of Apple won’t work as Apple decides to launch an iPhone with screen display between 4.7-inch to 5.8-inch. That’s happening just to cut off the tendency of users for Samsung devices as it remains at the top of market share. iPhone 6 likely to have a sapphire crystal screen display as Apple paid $575 million to a company who manufactures this stuff. The curved-shape is also being discussed for iPhone 6 around the tech society.

But when we talk about Samsung, we know their efforts to produce some innovative devices. So, we can expect some big from Samsung. Many reports have been made that Samsung’s new Galaxy S5 may pack an aluminum framework. The Samsung Galaxy S5 is highly expected to come with a 5 inches Super AMOLED display.

There are no big changes in Nexus 6’s design as it’ll carry the most of its predecessor. It is projected to come with 5 inches HD display with Super LCD3.

Operating System

The iPhone 6 is largely expected to run the overhauled version of iOS 7 that could be iOS 7.1 or new iOS 8 with enhanced mapping system. The Samsung Galaxy S5 is likely to have Android 4.4 KitKat. Battery life isn’t exactly a strong suit of Nexus 5. It is fairly average, and it’ll last you up to 24-hours if you are careful. While Apple’s recent iPhone is more battery friendly than its forerunners, so there is a hope that same could happen with iPhone 6.

Processor & Performance

Nexus 5 is well optimized for Android Kitkat 4.4, and above all it packs a strong processor which is best for intensive tasks. It contains Qualcomm’s snapdragon (800) quad core krait chip 2.3GHz with 2GB RAM an Adreno 330 GPU.

The position of iPhone 6 isn’t different from Nexus 5 in the aspect of Performance. It packs 64 bit processor and while we’ve no idea about Apple’s next generation that what it’ll be called. Apple looks pretty content producing some speedy devices. The newly launched iPhones are running smoothly and we didn’t find any issue regarding slowness.

iPhone 6 with larger screen might come in the 2^nd quarter of 2014, according to the Invester’s Business Daily. This report stated that the Apple’s calendar normally has an iPhone launch date every twelve months. Though, this might change by the next year.

An authentic source in the Tech Supply Chain in Taiwan and China says that the latest iPhone 6 with larger screen is projected to release in the 2^nd or 3^rd Q of next year. So, this would mean that the highly rumored bigger screen iPhone 6 would launch in the month of April or September next year. According to the report.

Chris Caso ( Analyst at Susquehanna Financial Group) also said that he guesses iPhone 6 to release late in the second quarter of next year. According to the Caso, the Apple is relatively pressured to launch a new Smartphone rapidly as its competitor Samsung, which launch a myriad of Smartphones each year.

This is likely true if the latest Smartphone will feature 5.7 inches large screen display, that’s one inch less than the iPad Mini and equal to the Galaxy Note 3. The iPhone 6 features might also comprise A7 Processor (64 bit), Touch ID technology, M7 graphics chip and iOS 7 like the newly released iPhone 5S.
